in accordance with the project calendar plan project manager, Doctor of Technical Sciences, General. Professor U. T. Akhmetova and researcher, Master A. Zh. Zhumabaev are currently conducting research work in the library and archival collections of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the study is to familiarize and analyze the research of orientalists about gold-bearing cities, ancient caravan routes and caravan saraies of the Western region of Kazakhstan.
