On September 1, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Kemelovich Tokayev delivered a message to the people of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan in the new situation: a period of action." The message focused on the ways to combat the pandemic, its consequences and changes in the country, the social development of the country, the preservation of incomes and jobs, the work to protect the health and lives of our people.

It should also be noted that the President paid special attention to the quality of education and the development of science. The government was instructed to provide internships for 500 scientists in the world's leading research centers and 1,000 grants for research under the Young Scientist project.
