Today, Olga Sirotina, Deputy Director General for Scientific and Educational Work of the State Historical Museum of the Russian Federation, met with Abilseiit Muktar, Director of the State State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Saraishyq, and Amangeldy Zhumabayev, Scientific Secretary. During the meeting, issues of sharing experiences, conducting joint excavations, and working in the museum's funds were discussed. The Historical Museum has formed a rich fund dating back to the Golden Horde period. Most of the archaeological finds and reports conducted on the lands of Astrakhan and Crimea since 1959 have been preserved here. The famous specialist of the Golden Horde, historian V. Egorov, worked at the museum. Some of his documents are also stored here. Today, the museum's archaeologist Ekaterina Boldyreva annually conducts excavations in the Selitrennoye town. As a result of the meeting, the foundations for further joint work were laid.
