The fund of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Saraishyq" is replenished with ethnographic exhibits passed under the "Gift to the Museum" campaign. A resident of our village, Zhangutova Lyazzat, presented to museum kebeje (wooden chest for storing food or dishes), which was kept for a long time in the house of her father Ramazan Zhangutov and made by the master Maktymkul Bekterekovich, as well as jastyq aǵash (wood for pillow) and tools for weaving alasha (carpet): ormek agash, a three-legged stand (mosy), a sword and adyrǵy made specially by Shaimardan Otealiuly for himself and to his wife, Asima Eszhankyzy.We express our gratitude to Lyazzat Zhangutova, who donated valuable exhibits to the museum, and we believe that these interesting exhibits will find their place in the museum corner.
