October 9, World Post Day is one of the international dates celebrated in the United Nations system. World Postal Day was declared at the Congress of the Universal Postal Union in Tokyo in 1969. Since October 9, the International Writing Week has been taking place all over the world. In this regard, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Saraishyq" will present the exhibition "Forgotten Romance". Letters, telegrams, postcards, as well as wedding invitations are a memory of the past days. The letters that we were looking forward to from our distant loved ones are now exhibits of the museum. Writing a letter and waiting for an answer was the romance of that time. The exhibition will last until October 16.
