On March 5, 2020, The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Saraishyq» together with the Akimat of Makhambet district, as part of the celebration of the International Women's Day - on March 8, held a round table «Ladies of the Great Steppe and the continuity of generations». The event was held in the village of Makhambet in the building of the district library with the participation of cultural workers. The moderator of the meeting is the secretary of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the Akimat of Makhambet district Tulegenova Gulfairus Tulegenovna. The round table was opened by Deputy Akim of Makhambet district Mardan Zhumakhmetovich Seitkaliyev, who congratulated those present on the holiday and noted the great contribution of women to society. Deputy Director of the Saraishyk Museum-Reserve Aybek Turaruly focused on business contacts between the akimat of the district and the museum-reserve, told about the work of legendary women in our history, about the peculiarities of the status of women in Kazakh society.
