On June 17, an international scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of the history of Atyrau region" was held, organized by the Institute of history and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov. The event, which was held online, was attended by the director of the Museum-Reserve "Saraishyq", doctor of historical sciences, professor Abilseit Mukhtar, who made a report on the importance of the medieval city of Saraishyq in the history of our country.
