On May 31, 2024, in honor of the Memorial Day of the Victims of Political Repression, the Saraishyq State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve held an online exhibition "From the history of the Prorva-Astrakhan camps in the GULAG system". The exhibition is organized based on the results of the scientific research project "The Prorva and the Astrakhan camps in the GULAG system: history, memory, lessons (1932-1950)" of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out by the museum-reserve in the period from 2020 to 2022. The purpose of the exhibition is to perpetuate the memory of the victims of political repression and to promote the exhibits received by the museum.
