Experienced Archaeologist Assesses Archaeological Research at Saraishyq

Russian archaeologist Vyacheslav Plakhov, who has been studying the ancient settlement of Saraishyq for many years, paid a working visit to the Saraishyq State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve. During his visit, the researcher toured this year's archaeological excavation sites at the ancient settlement and examined the newly discovered archaeological features identified in recent years. He gave a positive assessment of the ongoing excavations and shared his professional opinions on several issues requiring further scientific attention. Together with the museum-reserve's archaeologists, he discussed the current priorities for the study of Saraishyq, the objectives of upcoming archaeological fieldwork, and the integration of newly discovered finds into scientific research.
