Excavation. XIV c.
This is a complex building of the "Khan" type palace. It was built for honored guests, merchants, travelers, pilgrims. In the XIV-XVII centuries in the Muslim countries of the East, the construction of such buildings was very common. The rooms here were once leveled and crammed. Initially, 25 rooms were opened in the building, soon after, adjacent rooms were built, and this facility began to grow. About 40 rooms have been opened due to indirect structures. Unfortunately, due to the flooding of the Ural River, a third of the building was not preserved and fell into the water. Presumably, this building was built by Urus Khan, a descendant of Jochi. He is the fourth great-grandfather of Qasym Khan.
Archaeological excavations were carried out by the West Kazakhstan archaeological expedition led by archaeologist Z. Samashev.
