Khorezm jug. XIII-XIV cc.

The vessel was discovered in 2003 during archaeological excavations at the Saraishyk settlement. It dates to the Golden Horde period and belongs to the category of imported goods brought along the Great Silk Road. The pottery was found in a fragmented condition and later underwent restoration. The vessel is made of black ceramics and represents a typical Khorezmian style. The neck is slightly pointed, the overall shape is rounded, and the handle is thick and sturdy, indicating its functional use in everyday life. The outer surface is artistically decorated: deep horizontal incised lines run across the body of the vessel, while thin vertical lines extend from the rim to the middle of the body on three sides. The base is flat and left undecorated.
