May 31 - on the Day of Remembrance of the victims of Political Repression, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Saraishyq” in the Museum of Art and Decorative and Applied Arts named after Sh. Sariev in Atyrau, an exhibition was held on the theme: “Repression in the USSR: the camps of Prorva and Astrakhan (1932-1950).)". Exhibition of the museum-reserve "Prorvinsky and Astrakhan GULAG in the system(1932 – 1950 гг.): history, memory, lessons" based on the results of a research project. The purpose of the exhibition was to perpetuate the memory of the victims of political repression and to promote the exhibits received by the museum fund. The opening of the exhibition was attended by the heads and staff of the museum, students.
