The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Saraishyq» with the support of the Akimat of Atyrau region on October 1-4, 2019 organized an international research, tourist expedition «Through the cities of Saraishyq - Sarai-Batu - Sarai-Berke Ulus of Jochi-the capital of the Golden Horde, dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the Golden Horde. The expedition was attended by the director of the Museum-reserve, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Abilseit Muktar, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor N.Seitov, Professor of Atyrau State University named after H. Dosmukhamedova, artist O. Kendir, Doctor of Historical Sciences S. Sapanov, Doctor of Historical Sciences A. Akhmet, Master of the West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov, postgraduate student of Ufa State University A. Turganbayev, the correspondent of the newspaper «Khabar 24»,the national channel «Kazakhstan», «Egemen Kazakhstan» in the West Kazakhstan region K. Kuttimurat, was also attended by the staff of the museum-reserve and local historians. The main purpose of the expedition was to conduct scientific research and develop a future tourist route on the site of the Ulus of Jochi-the capital cities of the history of the Golden Horde.
