Muharrem Çeken, an archaeologist from Ankara University and a Turkish scholar, along with Vyacheslav Plakhov, an archaeologist from the Russian Federation, became acquainted with archaeological excavations conducted in the Sarayshyk area — specifically in the medieval settlements of Ashyssay and Karagayly. Staff of the “Sarayshyk” museum-reserve provided the guests with detailed information about the history of the ancient cities, the discovered architectural structures, and the unearthed artifacts.
The study of national heritage and international cooperation is an important way to promote shared values.
