The "Saraishyk" museum-reserve, as part of the scientific program of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, continued scientific research at the medieval settlement of Ushkan. The research involved the program leader, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ulzhan Akhmetova, Russian archaeologist V. Plakhov, Professor A. Mukhtar, Candidate of Historical Sciences K. Mendegereev, as well as archaeologists from the Saraishyk museum-reserve.
