The scientific staff of the museum-reserve went on an expedition along the ancient caravan roads of Saraishyq-Urgench

On June 1, the “Saraishyq” Museum-Reserve, together with the akimat of Makhambet region, went on an archaeological expedition to conduct research along the ancient caravan route between Sarayshyq-Urgenish. According to the plan, the expedition passed through the historical monuments of Saraishyq – Kulish – Taskuduk – Zhanibek – Bileuly – Shengeldy – Taskeshu – Bakashi – Ushkan – Koskuduk – Beldeuly – Kusshy. The expedition included d.h.s., Professor A. Mukhtar, d.h.s., professor U. Akhmetova, c.h.s., archaeologist M. Kasenov, lecturer of the West Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov, PhD, geographer E. Imashev and archaeologists of the “Saraishyq” Museum-Reserve A. Turaruly, J. Baigaliev, A. Zhumabaev, N.Zheksenbaev.
