On October 28, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Saraishyq» and the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a round table on the topic: «Cities of the Golden Horde, ancient caravan routes and caravanserais of the Western region of Kazakhstan: interdisciplinary research (XIII-XIX centuries).)», 20 km from Saraishyq in the newly identified Ulus area, a field seminar of archaeologists was held on the topic: «Caravan routes of Ulug-Ulus: from Saraishyq to palaces on the Volga."
The field seminar was attended by the head of the scientific project, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor U.Akhmetova, Director of the Saraishyq Museum-Reserve, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A.Muktar, specialist in caravan roads and caravan palaces in Kazakhstan, archaeologist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Madiyar Eleuov (Almaty), archaeologist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Amantai Isin (Semey), archaeologist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Mukhtar kozha (Turkestan), archaeologist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Marat Kasenov (Atyrau), archaeologist, Dr. Aybar Kasenalin (Nur-Sultan), archaeologist Syrym Yesen (Nur-Sultan), the head of the Center for the Study of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Atyrau region Mukhambetkali Kipiev, archaeologists of the Saraishyq Museum-Reserve Aibek Turaruly, Zhumabayev, Zhunis Baigaliyev and media representatives. Ceramic products found in the area, decorative ornaments, silver dirhams of Uzbek Khan, copper pools belonging to Uzbek Khan and Zhanibek Khan were presented at the seminar. As a result, the archaeologists noted that the significance of the newly discovered historical monument is very great. It is believed that future research work on the monument will be rich in good historical information.
