Today, Director of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Saraishyq”, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Abilseiit Muktar, together with the museum-reserve’s archaeologists, visited the medieval settlement of Aktobe-Laeti, where archaeological research is currently underway.
The museum-reserve staff met with Evgeny Pigarev, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Leading Researcher at the A. Khalikov Institute of Archaeology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation, who is leading the archaeological excavations.
The meeting focused on the progress of the excavations, research findings, and the historical and cultural significance of the medieval settlement. The participants also exchanged professional experience.
