Comprehensive Study of the History of the Saraishyq Settlement

The Saraishyq State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve of the Committee of Culture under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Jochi Ulus Research Institute of the Committee of Science under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is conducting archaeological excavations at the Saraishyq medieval settlement as part of the grant-funded project “Comprehensive Study of the History of the Saraishyq Settlement.” The main objective of the archaeological excavations is to identify and conduct a comprehensive study of Golden Horde period sites. The project is led by archaeologist PhD Syrym Yessen. The research is being carried out by the project’s researchers Ali Akimbekuly and Meirzhan Kyzyrkhanov, together with archaeologists from the Saraishyq State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.

No lunch / days off

holidays start from the “Saraishyq” visitor center.
