Medieval Saraishyq - the capital of the Kazakh Khanate
RSPE State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Saraishyq"

An exhibition was organized in Tengizchevroil LLP

On May 18, in  the International Museum Day, an exhibition of the State Historical and Cultural Museum - Reserve "Saraishyq" with the theme "Saraishyq on the Silk Road branch (XIII-XV centuries)" was held in the Office of Tengizchevroil LLP in Atyrau. The Great Silk Road Caravan, which passed through Saraishyq for more than three centuries during the Golden Horde and almost two centuries during the Nogai Horde, left its mark on the development of the city. Evidence of this is not only the products that came by caravan route, which were found during archaeological excavations, but also the places where caravanserai served caravans. Comprehensive caravanserais show the high level of development of the city's culture. This is evidenced by the exhibits of the medieval period. The collection of Saraishyq coins, which was exhibited for the first time this year, also attracted great interest.
