On November 29, 2024, the State State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Saraishyk" of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan will hold a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic "Archaeological research in 2024: their progress and first results", dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, academician, founder of national archeology Alkey Margulan. The conference will be held in an online (offline) format.

The conference will be devoted to information, results and monitoring of the achievements of archaeological research conducted in 2024.

Conference schedule:

Historians, archaeologists, local historians, museum staff, doctoral students, undergraduates, students, as well as other representatives of the humanities can take part in the conference. The working languages of the conference are Kazakh and Russian.

Terms of participation:

The participants of the conference must submit their reports to the organizing committee in electronic form by November 20, 2024.
