Today, the exhibition "Sarmatian Gold" was held in the Atyrau Regional History and Local History Museum, organized based on the results of archaeological excavations carried out in 2023-2024 on the Karabau and Karakuduk mounds. The showcases of the exhibition present nomadic products, gold overlays, bracelets, earrings, bronze mirrors made in the design of animals, wooden and bones products found in the mounds of the early iron age. The exhibition gives a comprehensive idea of the culture of the Sarmatian tribes that lived in our region in the early Iron Age, as well as the achievements of the nomadic civilization of the steppes. The conducted studies can be considered as a significant contribution to the archeology of Kazakhstan. The staff of the museum-reserve congratulates local scientists, archaeologists and historians on their successes and wishes them further success.
