On September 22, 2022, a field exploration expedition with the participation of famous scientists from Kazakhstan and Russia, organized by the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Saraishyq", continued. The expedition includes archaeologist, Doctor of historical sciences, professor M. Eleuov (Kazakhstan, Almaty), doctor of historical sciences, professor A.K. Mukhtar (Kazakhstan, Saraishyq), numismatist, candidate of historical sciences, professor P.N. Petrov (Russia, Moscow), archaeologist V.V. Plakhov (Russia, Astrakhan), candidate of Historical Sciences M.S. Kasenov (Kazakhstan, Atyrau), ethnographer, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Zh. Yernazarov (Kazakhstan, Uralsk), archaeologist, local historian A. Turaruly, archaeologist, doctoral student A. Moldakhmet, master Zh. Baigaliyev, N. Zheksenbayev. During the exploration work, the Golden Horde settlement near the Zhorgatai burial ground was identified and its exhibits were analyzed. During the work, the scientific group visited Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov.
